What happens if an update breaks the site?
That is exactly what staging is meant to prevent. If a problem still reaches production, we restore the backup taken just before the intervention and analyse the incompatibility before trying again.
Does maintenance include content changes?
Maintenance covers the technical operation of the site. Content or feature changes are handled separately, but we can include a block of development hours in the contract if you wish.
Can you maintain a site you did not build?
Yes. We start with an audit to understand the theme, plugins and hosting. If the site carries significant risks, we propose an upgrade plan before starting routine maintenance.
Do you also need to update PHP?
Yes, old PHP versions no longer receive security fixes and slow the site down. We check theme and plugin compatibility on staging, then upgrade the version at your host.
