Does Expo limit what the app can do?

Is performance good enough?
For service, business and e-commerce apps, yes. React Native's new architecture and Reanimated deliver smooth animations. Games, heavy video processing and 3D remain cases where native is preferable.
How do over-the-air updates work?
JavaScript code changes can be sent to users without a new store submission, in compliance with Apple and Google rules. Native code changes still require a regular release.
